Mary Broadcast

Mary Broadcast is a singer and guitarist, but also a musician, composer, bandleader, booker, producer and manager of her own project. She has been independently and confidently in the international music business for several years, pursuing her dream independently and creatively, without any big partners in the background. She consistently advocates for the visibility of female musicians by regularly conceptualizing women's talk & music nights. She is in line with female musicians who don't conform to the typical pop circus and don't just represent the beautifully made-up doll with a good voice, but represent an independent art figure and build their career independently away from the mainstream.

In 2021, the concept album PANIC was released song by song, video by video digitally as a mini-series. In 2022 PANIC will be released physically on CD and vinyl. With the concept EP, the band leader and guitarist expands her commitment to social women's issues with a very personal dimension. With the cycle of six songs and six videos, she and her indie pop-rock band tell the painful but also inspiring story of a woman who has to re-sort her inner and outer world after a miscarriage. "A life in six songs" ("Die Presse") is a small masterpiece on many levels, melancholy is by no means the consistent emotion, according to the Wiener Zeitung, rather swinging and punchy pop songs with a bright grounding.
