New York-based artist Alexandra Drewchin makes maximalist, overwhelming and often dystopian avant-pop under the pseudonym Eartheater, amplifying her signature brand of eerie chamber folk with industrial bursts of noise and dissonance. She made her debut in 2015 on Hausu Mountain, a key label of the Chicago experimental circuit; wide recognition came with her releases for the Berlin imprint PAN, during its dominance of the then flourishing deconstructed club scene.
