Consortium Pragense Orchestra
The Consortium Pragense Chamber Orchestra is one of a number of Czech string orchestras playing mainly Baroque, pre-classical and classical music in a stylistically appropriate size (7 strings, trumpet, harpsichord). However, with the necessary additions to the ensemble, it is also prepared to perform Romantic and late Romantic music at a high level, especially works of Czech provenance (Dvořák, Janáček, Suk) and 20th century music (Hindemith, R. Strauss, Barber, Martinů).
