Boris
Boris is an experimental and avant-garde rock and metal band from Tokyo founded in 1992. Its members are Wata, Takeshi and Atsou. The first official publication is the participation in 1994 published exclusively in Japan compilation Take Care of Scabbard Fish. The album debut Absolutego was released in 1996 on the band's own label Fangs Anal Satan. Many releases later, followed the collaboration with bands like Sun O))) and Altar. They also contributed the soundtrack to Jim Jarmusch's film The Limits of Control. In 2016 they released the double album Gensho together with Merzbow on the label Relapse Records.
