Agent Side Grinder
Swedish post-punk revivalists Agent Side Grinder have been tapping into everything bleak and 1980s since the group's formation in 2005: from grimy minimal synth, classic industrial and gothic aesthetics to media samples about the Iron Curtain. Equally inspired by Depeche Mode and obscure European EBM, they wrap these influences in clean, neat production, reminiscent of minimal techno and contemporary darkwave. Their resume includes opening shows for the likes of Suicide or Laibach and seven studio albums, the most recent of which is 2023's Jack Vegas.
