Kampa Theatre ranks amoung the youngest theatres in Prague. The theatre was founded in September 2010 and is supported by the one of the most popular Czech actor Jaroslav Dušek.
Kampa Theatre consists of a theater hall with a capacity of 85 spectators and a cozy loft with a capacity of about 20 people, where the workshops, seminars and meetings are taking place. The program includes theatre performances for adults and children, concerts, workshops, lectures and various discussion meetings. You can come here to work out, try some of the tea world, dance, sing, play the drums or to meditate. Visitors of this theater are not just passive spectators.
Success and survival of the Kampa theatre depends on every visitor. Kampa Theatre has only four members of the permanent staff and many volunteers. The aim of the theatre is to show that atypical cultural and social projects can survive.
