Theater X
Theater X is a CommUNITY theater in Moabit, which is conceived and run by young people and staff together, in co-management. Theater X is run by a working group in which all areas of the theater are represented: the AG Intendanz, made up of young people and staff. Production takes place in director's collectives, in which young people themselves take over the direction, dramaturgy, technology and production - supported by coaches in all areas. Here, young people learn the craft of self-determined artistic work - from acting to lighting technology and event management. With seasons of its own and guest productions and with plenty of space for initiatives and perspectives from the neighborhood and the various CommUNITIES of Berlin and far beyond, Theater X sees itself as an important young and political cultural venue for Moabit and Berlin.
