The Track Inspection

The Track Inspection is a Prague jazz group around musician Jan Andr.

Pianist and composer Jan Andr has in recent years moved from simple keyboard to playing the Hammond organ. Inspired by the New York club scene, he and his six-piece band have ventured into a more energetic form of jazz, combining tradition with genres such as funk and soul. The combination of an organ trio and a three-piece brass section makes The Track Inspection a unique formation on the Czech scene, whose repertoire consists mostly of original compositions by the band members.
