Young literature teacher Julien is idealistic and passionate about his vocation. When a student accuses him of harassment, he must defend his teaching methods, job, and reputation. The atmosphere in a literature class at a French school grows unbearably thick as pressure from students and parents to resolve a burning scandal spirals out of control. As Julien tries to prove his innocence, he puts everything he cares about at risk. Based on a true story, the film shows how easily good intentions can become a source of misunderstanding, and how quickly one false accusation can escalate to the brink of disaster.
