Playful musical workshops will introduce us to the untamed, all-powerful elements: fire, air, water, and earth – four encounters and the four basic elements that work together to form life on the planet Earth.
Playful musical workshops will introduce children to the untamed, all-powerful elements: fire, air, water, and earth – four encounters and the four basic elements that work together to form life on the planet Earth. Why? Because every musician is a bit of an alchemist who is also trying to mix the right musical elements together to make music sound like it should. Sometimes it’s literally science, but it’s always a great adventure!
Each gathering is beggining in the Suk Hall at the Rudolfinum, where the children and teachers are playfully drawn into the morning’s topic. Connected with the joint programme, there are always at least three workshops for smaller groups of pupils that are full of singing, movement, playing instruments, and art activities. In addition, participants can look forward to the traditional concluding five-minute musical quiz – and this time it will definitely be elemental.
Instructors: Kristýna Müllerová, Jakub Kacar, Jan Kyjovský, Denisa Ulmanová
