The Folks
The Folks is a folk band from Prague.
The members of The Folks have known each other personally since their student days, when they made music together in college dorms. Later they met in different bands or while recording in studios. But nowadays they are performing in a new line-up. The band members make no secret of their positive relationship to folk music and their admiration for the Beatles, which is also reflected in their songs. The original intention to record their old original songs in a dignified manner gradually turned into a desire to create new songs and to perform these songs in live performances.
