A film about what happened in the famous building of the Federal assembly of Czechoslovakia in the early 1990s right before the dissolution of the state. It is not easy to decide on the demise of the state when its end is inevitable. Especially when at the beginning everyone announces fundamental and contradictory positions.

The film depicts a parliamentary community confronted with an unusual task, capturing the uncertainty of fragile relationships, attempts at agreement and non-communication and suspicion, tactics, work and theatrics. All this not only in the boardroom, but especially in the backstage. Despite MPs' varying degrees of willingness to let the crew peek 'under the hood', the film tries to go behind the scenes of the speeches and show at least a little of how politics is done.

During the three months that the filmmakers visited the Federal Assembly, the dissolution hearing turned into a drama full of uncertainty and tension. Similarly, the film escalates with each new meeting to the funeral feast for the federation at the end.
