About The Chorus of the Polish Royal Opera
The Vocal Ensemble of the Polish Royal Opera (until the end of 2017 operating under the name of the Choir of the Polish Royal Opera) performs choral parts in stage and concert presentations of operas, oratorios and other vocal-instrumental works. The ensemble, which is composed of 12 to 24 people, is co-created by talented and qualified vocalists – graduates of music universities with extensive concert and stage experience. The ensemble’s repertoire includes works of various periods – from compositions by Claudio Monteverdi, Georg Friedrich Handel and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, through works by Stanisław Moniuszko and Józef Elsner, to contemporary works by Włodek Pawlik. The Vocal Ensemble of the Polish Royal Opera is led by the conductor Lilianna Krych.
