The Bartenders

The Bartenders met in Warsaw in 2006. They were united by their fascination with the achievements of the Jamaican musicians of the 1960s and 1970s, and the seemingly dwarfish idea of confronting their characteristic approach to rhythm with Polish melodies and musical tradition. The fact that they hit the jackpot soon turned out to be a good thing, and the right path was finally confirmed by, among others, the good reception of their debut album, the cooperation with the world-class rock star Dr. Ring Ding, and recently joint performances and recordings with the legendary Alibabki band.
