Tender

Tender is an electronic music duo formed in London, England, in 2015. It consists of two members: James Cullen and Dan Cobb. Cullen provides lead vocals and plays keyboards and synthesizers, while Cobb contributes backing vocals and plays keyboards, synthesizers, and guitar. The duo was formed while they were living together as a project of home-recorded tracks and gradually expanded into professional musical activity.

Tender began their career by releasing several self-published EPs, including Armour (2015), EP II (2016), and EP III (2016). These early recordings garnered attention on online platforms and led to a contract with the record label Partisan Records in 2016. In September 2017, the duo released their debut studio album Modern Addiction through Partisan Records. This album introduced a broader repertoire of songs and expanded the group's touring activities. Their second studio album Fear of Falling Asleep was released in January 2019. Further releases include the EPs Side A (2020) and Side B (2022), which continue the duo's stylistic elements of electronic music and sound production.

Some of Tender's tracks have been used in television series and film projects. For example, the song Afternoon was included in the series How to Get Away With Murder, the track Nadir appeared in the film To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, and other tracks were used in the series Never Have I Ever.

The duo's current work includes new singles and projects released in 2025 and early 2026. These recordings include the single Gravity / Infinity from 2025, Bloodshot (November 2025), and the single Strong Enough released in January 2026.
