TEDxPrague is a non-profit initiative focused on sharing inspiring ideas and stories, and has been part of the global TEDx movement since 2009.

TEDxPrague is a non-profit initiative centered around ideas worth spreading. The event was created in 2009, inspired by TED and under its license. As a result, it is part of the global independent TEDx movement.

TED (short for Technology, Entertainment, and Design) is a global foundation dedicated to ideas worth spreading, operating since 1984. It currently includes the interdisciplinary conferences TED, TEDGlobal, TEDYouth, and TEDWomen, the annual TEDPrize, live streaming, an extensive video archive of talks subtitled by volunteers in dozens of national languages, and independent (licensed) TEDx conferences and other communication channels around the world.
