Teatr Ad Spectatores

The first performance of Ad Spectatores was created in 1997 in Wrocław, and in 2000 the theatre began its activities as an association. On the day the association was established, the ensemble consisted of students of the first and second year of the theatre school in Wrocław. The theatre was established to become an alternative to the state-run theatres and a place for all possible experiments in the field of drama, acting and staging. and staging.

Currently, Ad Spectatores is the largest private theatre in Wrocław. It has 2 stages: The Main Stage is located in the Burgher Brewery at 44 Hubska Street and the stage in the Attic on Ruska Street. The annual number of performances reaches 150 (including 5 to 6 premieres). Ad Spectatores has presented its performances in Moscow, Berlin and Bratislava. It has also hosted artists from Moscow, Berlin, Freiburg, New York and Dayton on its stages.
