Tanyc is the German singer-songwriter Carmen Tannich, an art pop artist associated with the country's prog rock scene. In 2021, she released a self-titled debut LP, featuring RPWL's Yogi Lang and Kalle Wallner (privately Tannich's husband), as well as Nir Zidkyahu, Aaron Brooks and Heiko Jung. Tanyc's output tends to stay close to prog's eclecticism, shuffling from maximalist arrangements to intimate ballads.
