Takes place during Młodopolski przewrót

A lecture in the series “Young Poland's Revolution” organized by the Art Tranfser Foundation.

Edward Okuń was active as a painter and graphic artist, and achieved well-deserved success in both disciplines. His unpretentiously decorative vignettes went down in the history of Polish graphic design, and his atmospheric paintings won the artist a numerous group of admirers also abroad.

Presenter: Paweł Bień - art historian, culture expert, poet. He graduated from Interdisciplinary Individual Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at the universities of Wrocław and Warsaw. He regularly collaborates with the National Museum in Warsaw and the Fryderyk Chopin Institute. He has been a guest lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, art exhibition offices and several Universities of the Third Age. He is the author of the poetry book Light Sensitivity.
