Sucha Beskidzka train station
Sucha Beskidzka station was opened in 1884, 4 km behind the current Stryszawa station. In the years 1884-1967 the name of the station was Sucha. Sucha Beskidzka is a junction station; railway lines no. 97 (Skawina—Żywiec) and 98 (Sucha Beskidzka—Chabówka) pass through it.
The station hall currently houses a waiting room, and in the station's heyday there were two waiting rooms; on the ground floor and on the ground floor of the building, in addition the building housed a police station and the station canteen. The now relocated canteen is located next to the firewood store opposite the repair hall. The former station canteen housed the first computer games—pinball machines. The ticket office was closed down around 2012. The station building has recently undergone another general refurbishment, and tenders are currently underway for the reconstruction of the platform and track infrastructure in the station area as part of the modernisation of the Sucha Beskidzka—Chabówka line.
