Subterfuge

Subterfuge are a metal seven-piece from Opoczno, Poland who use their size advantage to create prog-metal epics, full of unexpected twists, emotional turns and unique endings. WIth a sound that carries echoes of melodeath and power metal, they augment the standard metal palette with violin and saxophone. In 2018, they debuted with the album Projections from the Past; a year later, they followed it up with what's currently their most recent release, Prometheus. Their maximalist flair extends to their live performances, complete with elaborate set design and lighting.
