Styropian
Born in 1982, resident of Katowice. He first came into contact with psytrance around 1997, when he heard Juno Reactor's recordings. At the beginning of his adventure with electronic music, he drew recordings and knowledge from the now non-existent radio station Evosonic and from the programme Technikum Mechanizacji Muzyki on RMF radio. Along with a growing number of parties his knowledge of the scene broadened and thanks to DJ Dudi's persuasion he bought his first vinyl and on 12 October 2002 he debuted in a small club Tarantula in Bytom on Psychedelic Experience party. Less than a year later he joined the crew of Psytrance.pl. Next stage of his adventure with psytrance were trips to big festivals in Europe. A breakthrough year for Styropian was 2004, when he became an organizer of a series of events entitled Trip To Goa (from III to VI) in Scena GuGalander club in Katowice. At the turn of 2004/2005 he founded the Psylesia Crew collective, which is responsible for events of the Tales series in the Katowice club INQbator. Since 2005, he has been a frequent guest at events in various cities in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 2008 he joined the collective Mystic Arts Event, which organizes events in Warsaw with the most famous and exciting producers of the psytrance scene. In his sets he combines melodic and energetic records. Thanks to his passion for photography, since 2003 he has been documenting events, on which he not only played, but also had fun as a regular clubber.
