Somebody's Child is a musical project by Irish musician Cian Godfrey, blending elements of indie rock and pop. Godfrey began his musical journey at the age of five by playing the piano and later focused on songwriting, reflecting personal experiences and themes of mental health.
In 2023, he released his debut album Somebody's Child, which received positive reviews and led to performances alongside bands such as The War on Drugs and Kings of Leon. In March 2025, the second album, When Youth Fades Away, was released. This album represents a musical and thematic shift, reflecting the process of aging and changing perspectives.
