Soen will perform in Poland during the tour promoting their new publishing house “Imperial”.
Melodic, heavy, intricately constructed and varied – these were the words used by Martin Lopez, a drummer known from Opeth and Amon Amarth, when asked how he would describe the music of his band Soen. Reviewers most often attribute progressive rock and progmetal patches to the Swedish band. Soen started to work for good in the second decade of the 21st century. The band visited Poland several times, gained a lot of fans and even gained the status of one of the stars of Prog In Park festival. Soen’s music oscillates around the climates of Pink Floyd, Katatonia, Tool, or Opeth. In the recordings, the Swedish crew willingly use strings (violin, cello), which can be beautifully heard, for example on the album Lotus released in 2019, where the quartet added extra beautiful sounds to Emela Jeremias' string. Apart from Martin and Joel, the Soen line-up is completed by Stefan Stenberg, Canadian Cody Ford and Lars Åhlund.
