Smoulder
Canadian-Finnish band Smoulder formed in 2013; they play epic doom inspired by classic heavy metal and bands such as Omen, Solitude Aeternus, Blind Guardian and Fates Warning. In 2018 they debuted with the demo The Sword Woman, the title of which sums up the subject matter of their songs quite succinctly - in their own words, they're interested in swords, magic and death. Since then they have released an EP and two studio albums, the latest of which is 2023's Violent Creed of Vengeance.
