Słupsk Castle
Part of the main complex of the Museum of Central Pomerania in Słupsk. There are five permanent exhibitions in the castle. Visitors can see the exhibition Treasures of the Pomeranian Dukes, where exhibits relating to the last of the Griffin dynasty can be seen. The exhibition From the Past of Słupsk presents objects related to the history of the city and its inhabitants. The exhibition Early Pomeranian Art from the 14th to the 18th Century presents Gothic sculpture, tapestries from the Renaissance period, elements of armaments, furniture from old Pomeranian courts and numismatic items. The exhibition At the Common Table: Cutlery and Culinary Accessories from the 17th to the 21st Century displays cutlery and catering accessories. There are also temporary exhibition rooms in the castle. In the summer season, weather permitting, visitors can see the contemporary cityscape from the top of the tower. The building's basement houses a restaurant, and castle's scenic garden is home to two sculptures.
