Skotační kulomet is an eight-piece band from Pilsen.
The music of the eight-member band from Pilsen spans across a wide spectrum of genres – from R&B and jazz-rock to elements of disco and funk. Their distinctive, energetic performances have earned them not only the favour of a rapidly growing fan base, but also the title of winner of the jury prize at the Muse 2024 band competition. When presenting the prize, Petr Korál, the competition's music publicist, described the musicians as a fresh wind and the modern-day Krásné nové stroje, the cult pioneers of the Czech New Wave.
