Shhor
Electronic, Blues | Shhor is a Tasmanian (Australian) Singer/Producer who has recently relocated to Taos, New Mexico. Her sound is a soulful amalgamation of her influences- Southern Gospel, Blues, Jazz, Soul and Ambient Electronica. After earning various singing awards and a degree in Music Performance, Shhor moved to Melbourne Australia where Shhor's astoundingly dynamic voice and stage presence earned her an integral role in the same scene that spawned the careers of Hiatus Kaiyote and Daniel Merriweather. As a professionally trained Solo Vocalist and Chorus Leader, Shhor is frequently hired to record her voice alongside hip hop artists and producers including Mphazes (Eminem), BeSpoke Music (Pharoahe Monch, Jill Scott), Illy, and Dylan Joel. Outside of the studio Shhor has shared the stage with D'Angelo, been remixed by Grammy Award winner and house music legend Louie Vega (Master's at Work) for the song "Weekend Love" on Osunlade's Yoruba Soul Records, and also Tall Black Guy for her co-written song WAY with USA artist Miles Bonny. Shhor is currently working on her debut solo LP.
