Sfinks
The Sfinks cinema has been operating in Kraków's Nowa Huta district since at least 1958; since 1985 it has been part of the structures of the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre. Today's Sfinks is a modern arthouse with a cosy atmosphere; it has two auditoriums, with 98 and 22 seats. It is a part of to the Network of Studio and Local Cinemas and the Polish Digital Cinema Network. Since 2004, it has been producing the Nowa Huta Newsreel, i.e. reports, features, interviews on cultural and social events connected with Nowa Huta; the newsreel is presented before each screening.
