British metal legend Saxon will visit Warsaw's Progresja as part of a tour promoting their latest album Carpe Diem. Special guest at the concert will be German power metal stalwarts Rage.

Saxon has been delighting its fans for nearly 50 years, but Biff Byford with his powerful vocals and company are like fine wine—the older they get, the better they get. The Brits' latest album was the highest-ranked disc in the country charts since Power & the Glory in 1983, reaching #17 in the UK Album Charts or #18 in the US Top Heatseekers. They have 23 full-length albums in their discography and have sold more than 15 million physical copies of their albums in their career. They are representatives of the new wave of British heavy metal alongside such musical icons as Iron Maiden, Def Leppard and Motorhead. Anyone who has seen Saxon live at least once knows that those frenetic and energetic riffs juxtaposed with truly rock'n'roll lyrics have been captivating people consistently for years.

The special guest of the Polish concert will be the band Rage, who will present us live their 2022 EP Spreading the Plague, released on Steamhammer. The German heavy metallers, led by Peter "Peavey" Wagner, have released 26 studio albums over nearly 40 years of activity, and with EPs, DVDs and live releases, these releases have accumulated to about 50. The stamp of their success is undoubtedly the sale of more than 5 million physical copies of their albums and more than 40 chart entries.
