Säule XXVI: Errorsmith + Laurel Halo + Lotic
Today, three acts who stand for the suspenseful intersections between experimental and dance floor music are performing at Säule.
Erik Wiegand alias Errorsmith is a DJ, producer and programmer who has invented Native Instruments's digital synthesizer Razor. Together with Berghain resident Fiedel he runs the rave project MMM, together with Soundstream, he deconstructs disco classics as Smith N Hack. As a solo artist he has released his best album so far on PAN in 2017: Superlative Fatigue is extra crisp and as playful as energetic.
Lauer Halo's music has always stayed unpredictable since her beginnings in 2010, she has explored various corners of electronic music with her productions. Bedroom pop, ambient, techno or abstract compositions: Halo's music always has a very special depth.
The third act of the evening is Lotic, after their live performance at CTM Festival they will play one of their genre-bursting DJ Sets tonight.
