S.P.O.C.K.

S.P.O.C.K (short for Star Pilot on Channel K, formerly Space Pioneers Orbiting Ceti K) is a synthpop band from Sweden. Many songs of the band are about science fiction, especially Star Trek. The band exists since the founding member and singer Alexander Hofman and the two keyboardists Johan Malmgren and Christer Hermodsson released their debut album S.P.O.C.K: 1999 in 1999. Well-known songs are Never Trust a Klingon, Astrogirl and Alien Attack.

The commercial success of the band already began in 1990 when they released their first single Silicon Dreams at the Swedish record label Accelerating Blue Fish. Other S.P.O.C.K albums are Five Year Mission (1993), Alien Worlds (1995) or 2001: A S.P.O.C.K Odyssey (2001).
