The posters comprising the series were created in 2012-2019, so it is a closed whole, containing 163 titles presented at the exhibition in the Poster Museum at Wilanów. They were donated to the collection by Leszek Jamrozik, trustee and custodian of the artist’s legacy.

The Poland series is an original concept by Ryszard Kai, consistently realised with great irreverence, in a slightly perverse convention, because it goes against the norms binding in the category of tourist posters. It is both a diary of sentimental journeys from various periods of life, and an evocation of private memories, as evidenced by the following statement by the artist: _I am constantly receiving proposals, sometimes even very lucrative ones, requests, encouragement to paint a place – NOTHING! This series is nourished by my memories, despite the fact that these are posters classified as tourist posters, there are hardly any spectacular monuments on them, instead there is my chatting about the country, its culture, art, language, about what I like, about tradition, sometimes charming, sometimes funny, about customs, charming places, sometimes little known without unnecessary embellishment.
