Rock Symphony Night

Elton John's I'm Still Standing sets the theme for the return of the Orso's rock symphonists after a break of several years on May 29, 2023, after the concert last had to be postponed from November 07, 2022. With more than 200 performers, the Orso's crossover section has also been called "the biggest band in the world." The playful rock symphonists are on the road in a small tour in the capital and in southern Germany.

Under the baton of founder Wolfgang Roese, the choir and orchestra in a large Mahler line-up, together with the rock band and a wide variety of soloists, sweep the audience off its feet with their joy of playing and celebrate the fusion of so-called "E- and U-Musik". After the pandemic break, Roese presents new arrangements for this versatile body of sound and old classics that no Rock-Symphony-Night should be without.
