The duo Piotrowicz-Majkowski uses mainly improvised techniques, both in terms of building a joint composition and the use of instrumental material. Although in a different way, both artists are characterized by the element of minimalism, which, however, is far from the convention. It is a general link rather than a dogma. Majkowski and Piotrowicz attach great importance to timbre and energy of sound, on an equal footing with its organisation and narrative potential. Instrumentally, the duo complements and exchanges not only in terms of registers but also articulation. Both musicians are experienced in cooperation with other artists and also as composers.
