Rob Fabrie
Rob Fabrie alias DJ Waxweazle is a Dutch DJ and producer of the genres hardcore techno and happy hardcore. His career began when he started producing techno tracks with his friend Richard van Naamen. In 1990 he worked at the Club Midtown in Rotterdam and in the same year handed over some demo productions to Paul Elstak, who made music in the same genre. Looking at their shared potential, Rob Fabrie, Richard van Naamen and Paul Elstak founded Holy Noise. In this formation, the hit singles James Brown is still alive (in response to L.A. Style's James Brown Is Dead) and The Nightmare were produced.
After some compilations Holy Noise decided to part again. Paul Elstak continued to produce his own records as DJ Paul. Rob Fabrie increased his profile through a number of solo projects for international labels such as Terror Trax or Dance International.
