Renaissance Theater

The Renaissance-Theater in Berlin-Charlottenburg (district Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf) is the only fully preserved Art Deco theatre in all of Europe. It was built by the architect Oskar Kaufmann and is listed under monument protection until today. Since the 1990s the artistic concept of this theatre is focused on international contemporary drama. Apart from the main schedule of performances, there are readings and other events taking place, such as „Literarische Streifzüge“ in which Biographies and new releases are being presented.
