Reimagine Copenhagen 1941 is inspired by the classic play Copenhagen by playwright Michael Frayn, which is about a secret meeting between two physicists – Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg in Nazi-occupied Copenhagen in the autumn of 1941. This documentary exhibition traces back to the history of the Copenhagen’s meeting in 1941 and the process of “Copenhagen in Rehearsal” at St John’s College, University of Cambridge in 2022.The most delicate part is that not just audience, but also historical celebrities are ‘freed’ from their own living times, to observe our world. What concerns will they hold on our technology? We take full advantage of portrait compositing and digital sound signal processing in theatre production. Combining theatre practice with modern technologies, they provided a unique configuration that enables the interference between people from interdisciplinary background . The final story is up to every individual audience. Let’s all take this chance to re-imagine the links between Science & Ethics, as well as Technology & our life.
