Two prominent authors of the Mediterranean will read from their works.

Ersi Sotiropoulos is a visionary figure of contemporary Greek literature. In her texts, she illuminates the complex relationship of art, life, and erotic desires. She has received the Greek National Book Prize twice, the Dante Alighieri Prize for poetry in Italy, and the Prix Méditerranée Étranger in France. Sotiropoulos will be introduced by Czech philosopher Tereza Matějčková.

A classic storyteller, Mahi Binebine was born in 1959 in Marrakech, Morocco, the mosaic of his novels and the landscape for his paintings and sculptures which are currently exhibited throughout Europe and the Guggenheim Museum in New York. This year, he received the Mediterranean Prize for his book The Street of Forgiveness. Binebine will be introduced by Abderrahim El Allam, expert in Arab literature, and Tereza Matějčková.
