Rain City Drive (formerly known as Slaves) is an American rock band originating from California. The group was formed in 2014 and was originally founded by Jonny Craig, Alex Lyman, and other musicians. In 2021, the band changed its name to Rain City Drive following a lineup change and a desire for a new direction.

In 2022, the band released its first album under the new name, Rain City Drive, which was received as a symbol of the group's fresh start. The band’s musical style combines elements of alternative rock, post-hardcore, and modern pop rock. In September 2024, the band released its latest studio album titled Things Are Different Now through Thriller Records. The album includes 11 tracks, featuring singles such as Medicate Me (with guest vocalist Rory Rodriguez of the band Dayseeker), Frozen, Neverbloom, and Over Me. The album’s themes focus on loss, heartbreak, and emotional transformation.
