Radůza
Radůza, real name Radka Vranková, is a Czech singer, chansonnier, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and composer. Besides composing her own songs, she also composes classical and stage music, as well as studies folk music of various European nations.
She started with a mostly blues-tinged repertoire on the street, where she was discovered by singer Zuzana Navarová in 1993. Her music is partly based on chanson, but Radůza draws most of her inspiration from folklore, which in her raw performance offer unexpected musical and lyrical turns. She thus belongs to the youngest generation of the Czech alternative scene, which is enjoying success not only on domestic stages but also abroad.
