Psychocukier
The power trio Psychocukier formed in Lodz in the mid-1990s, becoming one of the flagship bands of the first wave of Polish indie rock that converged around the label Antena Krzyku. Psychocukier, like many other groups from the scene, laced direct, uncomplicated rock songwriting that owed a considerable debt to 70s psych with a gradually growing layer of experimentalism—referencing krautrock, improvisation and exploring noise and electronics. Their discography currently comprises seven LPs, the latest being 2018's Antypody umysłu.
