Prague Chamber Soloists
The Prague Chamber Soloists (PKS) is a string chamber orchestra of fifteen musicians that has been performing in a new line-up since 2013. The artistic director is hornist and conductor Pavel Baborák. The repertoire of the PKS consists of highlights for string orchestra from Baroque, Classical, Romantic literature, 20th century compositions, but it does not shy away from the composers of the Renaissance period and completely contemporary post-modernist opuses created in the 21st century. He actively collaborates with a number of composers and premieres their works.
