About Powerline Agency
The Powerline agency was founded in Berlin in the early 90s. It was named by a Hüsker Dü song and kept moving somewhere between DIY and a small business in its beginnings. The agency started organizing tours for American underground bands liek Samiam or Green Day at the time, but in the same time Powerline developed its own passion for a style called the Hamburg school, with bands like Tocotronic or Blumfeld.
The agency represents artists from various fields, from post hardcore to electro or modern dub jazz. Its home hereby is a hub of avid cultural life: in Berlin. Powerline also leaves the music terrain more and more often and represents writers or theaters.
