A lecture in the series “Young Poland's Revolution” organized by the Art Tranfser Foundation.
Enchanted with the style of Stanisław Wyspiański’s works, the young Jan Rembowski leaned towards Art Nouveau ornamentation. As an ardent patriot, he became known as a portraitist of the legions, and his mature works oscillate around symbolism. During the lecture it will be possible to see how the dossier of this prematurely deceased artist was changing.
