Poly Noir & The Holy Spirit Smugglers
Poly Noir is a Czech dark country / noir western project.
It is a project of guitarist and vocalist Poly from metal-crossover band Insania, in which you can hear influences of Enio Morricone, Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, "poet of destruction" Cormac McCarthy and others. The first tracks were written in 2018, and the debut album K mýmu ohni nesedej was released in November 2024 (Smile Music rec.). The Holy Spirit Smugglers were formed for live performances.
For the purpose of live presentation of the album, the band The Holy Spirit Smugglers was formed, featuring musicians Tom Šlápota (bass), Jan Fic (guitars) and David Horák (drums).
