Guests are invited to come along on a dazzling journey through time of the ball nights "Polish Twenties" – sensual on the threshold of the supernatural.
Karolina flashes the magic key to the magical Ballhaus Wedding and willingly the gates open to a sunken wonder world illuminated by crystal chandeliers. The focus of the night is the international ensemble Cannelle. In their new concert program, the ladies deal with the pleasure and burden of woman(being). Guests can look forward to chansons about the 20s, emancipation, Jewish worlds and sharp social criticism fed with humor and extravagance. Accordion prodigy Mateusz Dudek completes the ensemble as special guest for this ball night. Night owls are invited to be enthralled by the sound of the instruments spiced with Karolina's beguiling voice.
The Europe of the 1920s that the ensemble embodies is open, cosmopolitan and tolerant. Despite the dark shadows, for the artists, and especially for the women, it is a time of awakening, full of hope and vitality, free-spirited, cheeky and tremendously creative. This illustrious era casts its sparkling lures and the public races to meet it, squealing with delight. The hat is adjusted, the pearl necklace swung around, and off they go on Karolina's nightly cruise on a ship without an anchor.
