After successful Polish concerts in 2019, the rockers from Poets of the Fall are coming back to Poland to delight the audience again. One of the most acclaimed bands in the history of Finnish music will play in Poland twice – in Warsaw’s Progresja and in Krakow’s Kwadrat club.
Poets of the Fall is an alternative Finnish rock band from Helsinki. The band consists of Marko Saaresto, Olli Tukiainen, Markus “Captain” Kaarlonen, Jani Snellman, Jaska Mäkinen and Jari Salminen. Poets of the Fall’s output is a mix of pop, rock, metal and industrial sounds. This peculiar mix has won the band a wide range of fans in their native Finland and abroad. Since their debut in 2005, the band has toured Germany, Sweden, Norway, the USA, Russia and India, among others. Poets of the Fall has also been appreciated by people in the industry – they have won many national and international awards for both music and videos, including two Emma Awards (Finnish Grammys) and the 2006 MTV Music Awards for Best Finnish Artist.
