Director Michał Zadara, along with a team of lawyers and historians, examines the possibility of assigning criminal or civil liability to people co-responsible for bringing about the expulsion of Jews from Poland. The aim is to send a notification on suspicion of committing a criminal offence by a specific person or group of people to a public prosecutor’s office. The authors examine to what extent it is possible to determine who was guilty of the expulsion. After 50 years of those events, can anybody be still accused of unlawful behaviour?
