Niezwyciężony

The story begins in an innocent way. Emily and Oliver—a married couple of intellectuals, once wealthy, move from the capital to a poor area of a provincial town due to financial difficulties. One evening they meet their next-door neighbours, Alan and Dawn, who they have nothing in common with. And then, as happens in theatre and in life, the meeting of four remarkable characters sets in motion a whole avalanche of unpredictable events in which they all ultimately lose to their weaknesses. Playwright Torben Betts writes on the human experience not to make yet another alarming diagnosis, but to reassure us that man always ultimately copes with the absurdity of the universe. And the fact that the world does not spare this absurdity is the basis of the story he tells.
